Linzy Farmerie of Pittsburgh, PA is an award-winning artist whose visual language is rooted in painting and exploratory media, with a particular passion for murals and large-scale works. She completed an artist residency at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and has extensive experience teaching art in schools, as well as in studio programs for both children and adults. Linzy holds a Master of Fine Arts from Carlow University, along with additional degrees in Art History and Conservation from the Institut d'Études Supérieures des Arts in Paris, France.
Alongside her studio practice, she is Manager of Special Events at the Carnegie Museum of Art and serves as Strategic Projects Consultant with Rivvly, an operations efficiency firm specializing in remote teams, where she engages as a collaborator on high-level initiatives. Beyond her professional life, Linzy is always on the hunt for the perfect iced lavender latte. She and her husband love to travel, and at home they share their days with Linus, their nine-pound black cat.
